Hey Mathew,
Thanks for the submission.
FKP:
-I suggest spending one more cycle here to get closer to that 90 degree angle at the first knuckle.
-You want to make sure your wrists are level with your shoulders.
FTP:
-At the top, you want your middle three fingers to be in contact with the wall.
WR:
-Be sure to keep the non-working wrist's elbow locked. For example, as you rock your left wrist, your right elbow shoulder remain locked to better isolate the left side.
WP:
-Nice job. Again, just be sure to keep your wrists level with your shoulders.
Tripod:
-Great form
Weighted Shoulder Flexion:
-You always want to train this mobility with a shoulder width grip so go much narrower.
-Strongly elevate your scapulas throughout this iM. With the shoulder width grip, you should be able to feel your ears pinching between your shoulders.
Try these corrections and resubmit. Looking forward to seeing your improvement!
Thanks didn't know that!
But I can't find what you're talking about. How do you navigate to the form check submission?
matthew simply use the forum section.

Does that mean that posting my requests for handstand 1 form checks in the handstand 1 forum is what you want me to do?

Yes, just what you did originally… keep reposting it to this thread, each time you improve your videos ![]()
yes Mathew.
Ok thanks!
Ok here's an update. I'm interested in how the HS/PE1>iM looks. I don't think I'm elevating my scapula enough.
I think my right arm needs to be a little lower with FTP (i.e. more parallel at the top of the pushup)
Hey Mathew,
For the seated shoulder flexion:
-Use a shoulder width grip. There was a big difference between your left and right sides so grip the dowel as evenly as possible. I typically measure and mark my bars to ensure a symmetric grip.
-Elevate more, like you already mentioned.
For the WP:
-Start and end with a closed fist.
For the FTP:
-Like you said, work on a nice straight line all the way through your hand and ensure your hands are evenly placed.
How does this look Everett?
Hi Matthew in the IM you need more forward lean on order to achieve the mastery.
Very good thank you. I over did it trying to push the iM and strained something by my left scapula but I will stay here for a while until I can lean forward more.
How do these look?
Nice job on the wrist work Mathew. Good call on resting after the strain. If possible, try to get in and see a physio to aide the recovery process. Mobility work must be trained with caution. Coach always reminds us that it is not strength work and must be treated differently.
Very solid advice there from Everett, methodical and sometimes gentle consistency is key.
Here's my first attempt at WP, FKP, WR, and FTP PE2s. Feedback appreciated! Thanks! The audio is super loud on the video–you might want to mute before you play it.
Hey Mathew,
All of them look great! You're ready to go a little lower in your long hollow now. Move your hands down the wall 1-2 inches. Now focus to keep more PPT (engage your glutes and core). Aim for a straight body and roughly a 45 degree angle. This will make the wrist strength more intense so be sensitive to them when first adjusting to the new angle.
Awesome progress Matthew. Looking forward towards your progress. ![]()
