Formal qualification to work through alongside foundation series

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on a formal qualification that can be studied alongside the foundation series.

My initial thoughts was a part time degree in sports therapy, as Coach S mentions in many of his podcasts they use of GST by therapist with their clients.

Thank you for your time in advance.

Hey Enzo,

I suggest treating formal education the same as you treat GB training. I learned a great lesson from a professor at my university a couple years ago. He instructs a year long, basic level anatomy and physiology class. At the start of the year, he made sure we understood basic science and never let up on it. Each lecture, assignment, and exam challenged our knowledge of basic chemistry, biology, etc. If you forgot about the basic science and couldn't apply it to the lesson, you wouldn't pass his class. Other professors who teach the same course review the basics on week one and move on. It doesn't make any sense to disconnect more advanced information from the basics. My recommendation is to start by mastering basic science and then build off of it. In the end, it makes things much easier.
