Rampage
Do you guys ever do any kind of levers with a chinup grip, instead of a pullup grip?
Neal Winkler
I have before with lever rows, but not for static holds.
Rampage
Why not? Are they considered "easier" with this grip?
Nick Van Bockxmeer
back lever work should be done with chin up grip. This imitates a similar stress on the elbow that prepares for cross and planche.front lever feels uncomfortable as the shoulders are externally rotated alot in the straight arm position. I agree that rowing feels quite nice in under grip, but you are better off using over grip for the straight arm static. You can also do them under the p bars, with the hands facing in. or out if you are somewhat of a masochist.
