Basketball and Foundation One

Hey Guys,

I'm currently training for basketball and am wondering whether or not it would be enough to just do the Foundations One course to improve my overall athleticism. Considering that basketball requires a lot of strength and power, especially in the lower extremities, would it be beneficial to add in some power lifting and/or squats/deadlifts/weighted sled sprints/olympic lifts/plyometrics?

I'm wanting to find the best way to improve my overall athleticism for basketball.

Thanks,

Daniel.

HI Daniel in order to develop power you need a basic strength  on the legs, the minimum it is developed along foundations 1-2-3-4. F1 it is necessary to for knees injury prevention. my personal suggestion it is to not involve serious barbell work until the SLS progression it is completed from foundation 1 to 4.
