What weight distribution should be attained on the tripod position? Should equal weight be on the head and each hand?

Weight on Head during Tripod

For beginner the weight should be felt on the hands first (assisted with the head), since if you do not have the strength to support on the hands how do you think you can have the strength to support on only 2 hands.
