One arm Plank feet distance

In the explanatory video, the feet distance is specified to be approx. 1 foot apart from each other, but in the follow along videos,  the instructors clearly have their feet at shoulder width apart.

Which one is right? I assume having feet wider apart makes the exercise easier...?

Thanks for the clarification

Hi Florian, as an introductory movement you are welcome to perform with shoulder distance only to get confidence with position especially the balance. then move to 1 foot distance as soon as possible.

So for mastery, shoulder width will not be acceptable, but to get going, shoulder width distance would be appropriate 'training wheels'.

Thanks, I did my mastery test today and as it turns out,  I will have quite a few weeks until mastery, so there will be time for me to get comfortable with the correct form :)

Hi Florian,

That is correct. By the time you are ready for mastery, the feet should only be one foot apart. Use these next couple of weeks to get that balance and strength down so that you can pass your mastery with flying colors. Good luck!
