I've noticed that one video demonstrates this exercise using ipsilateral locomotion while the other video demonstrations it using contralateral locomotion. Does it matter and which are you asking for?

Hi Kathryn, from my pov, try both and then try to pass from one to the other it is a wonderful coordination work.
What does opening the shoulders mean in the stiff bear
Hi Adam it i means that you should be able to draw a straight line passing from hand up to shoulder and hip, if the shoulder it is on front of this like then it is not completely opened.
