This was an excellent description of how F1/GB Courses work.
"Foundation One gives you options for 2-5 days a week with 30 or 60 minute workouts. What’s different about Foundation One is that it’s not a “dumb” workout program where every student gets identical workouts. Rather, we have all the potential steps you might need and then you work on whichever progressions you personally need. So each student will have a completely different workout and path through the course. Also, you won’t work on anything you can already do properly. Our software has a placement test (called a mastery test) to present a series of exercises to figure out the appropriate difficulty.
Since the course is based on your performance and abilities, the time for each student to work through it will vary. A student with reasonable athleticism coming in might take a year where a student with mobility deficits and no basic strength might take 18 months. We don’t pretend everyone will fit the same mold and so have a system rather than a set track that everyone follows.
Each progression will build on the previous in terms of either difficulty or a certain area of athleticism being developed. For example, Front Lever in Foundation One will focus on core for abs/transverse abs on the floor. Foundation Two adds a straight arm component, Foundation Three adds a hanging aspect and Foundation Four is direct variations towards achieving the front lever.
I hope this answers your questions. Please let us know if you need anything else."
