how to treat posts in the wrong section

Hi Guys spend a couple of minutes reading what follows.

When approving or checking for new post/answers the first thing is to watch what they are asking for, then have a fast look about where they posted. I want to emphasize that because a couple of times i seen answered post in wrong section:

-if it is a general question for general forum move in the correct section . a fast example is a recent post of Castiglione posting a planche lean form check into movement general forum. here you can 1)answer and afer 2) move

-a more critic case is when a post is concerned private material. not everyone understood (and this is a bit annoying since if a private forum still exists, why posting on public?) that specific course  material must be in the private subsection. My "order of action" in this case is consider that there are different possible people:

-people who posted wrongly but have the course

-people who posted intentionally and they have a pirated version of a course

-people who posted intentionally and they asked for the refund immediately.

In order to avoid to give assistance for free to the type 2 and 3, if there is a question on private material you need FIRST to move it , then when in the private section give an ANSWER.

cheers

Alex

Yep.

I noticed I have moved a few more threads than usual lately to course forums. We often don't notice as we have equal access to everything, but do glance at this :)

Thanks Alex,

I have just realized that I haven't moved anything on the Forums.

For purposes of best practice, make sure to check the box to leave a link from the original location of the thread when you move it. That way members will find it again when they look.

thanks Cory :)
