Underhand shoulder dislocations

I'm having trouble getting my HS/PE6 mobility, the underhand shoulder dislocations, to look like the demo video. At least I think -- the angle of the demo video may be misleading.  My version looks basically like this guy's: https://youtu.be/ATDzViZ4jzQ?t=1m6s , with the hands/wrists looking all twisted up when they come to the front.  To my eye, the demo video doesn't look like this... Assuming it's not, any suggestions on how to get to the good way?  Thanks.

Hi David,

Can you please post a video of your dislocates so that I can give you better feedback.

The video you shared demonstrated tight wrist and forearm because when the bar comes in front you want to maintain a full grip on the bar. Mobility takes lots of reps and consistency. Im looking forward to seeing your video.

Alrighty then -- here's my version.  Thanks!

It's your forearms mate-- I had this exact problem. Wrists should extended kept straight, not wrapped around the bar. The fix is, using a mirror if possible, complete the reps only to where your wrist bends to accomodate it. Over a few workouts this will loosen up nicely.

It took me a couple of weeks to get it working right, maybe 3. Once it loosens a little it improves fast but it is on you to be diligent with it to get it there :) good job catching it early unlike *cough* some of us

It kind seems like magic to me. You mean that my forearm muscles need to be more flexible?  Seems like the awkward wrist bend starts very high up in the motion.  In the video below, seems like his elbows are pointing more forward when his arms come down in front?  Maybe the arm has rotated more in the shoulder?  Anyway - sounds like your recommendation is to keep working it and it will fix itself? [but stopping the motion before it looks very twisted?].  Thanks...

It definitely is a big stretch for the forearms when you keep the wrist straight. You are close David, your dislocates will continue to get better the more you work on them. Thanks for posting a video.

I focused on straightening / unbending the wrists, and somehow they straightened.  How does this look?  Is the next step to move the hands a bit closer together?  Thanks!

Great improvement! Make sure your working to remove the arch in your low back. Hard to tell from this latest video.
