Knee pain

Just mastered Hawaiian squats and moved on to single leg static squats.  My right knee which is my dominant leg has some pain in the inside of the leg while doing this exercise.  Any ideas why and how to fix this issue?

Hi Tyler,

It's hard to know exactly the source of the pain without the opinion of a physician, but there are a couple things you can do to strengthen the knees.

Even though you've moved on from SLS/PE's 1-5, I recommend continuing to add some of these movements into your warmup, especially before a leg workout. Skiiers, twisting squats, inside squats, natural leg extensions, and side to side lunges are invaluable for keeping knees healthy.

If there is s previous injury in that knee, if may require further attention. Backing off the exercises that cause pain and spending some extra time on the movements mentioned above can make a huge difference in knee health.

Best of luck!
