Hi guys, appreciate your feedback!
Way harder with daughter playing around me ![]()
A side view - awesome!
Not a bad start - to me it seems you can improve PPT and protraction but wait for someone with a better eye to comment. I'm still working this element myself.
Improvements on protraction, PPT and lean are necessary. Also a bit more of depression.
improvement on lean means i should learn further forward @Alessandro Mainente?
Yes, wrap something like a rope around the lower ribs and lean forward until it disappear in between arms.
OK, thank you - will stay on that progression, then!
what do you mean with that @Alessandro Mainente: "Also a bit more of depression."?
shoulders far away from the ears.
Thank you very much @Alessandro Mainente
Better form now?
Better ![]()
I would like the camera to be a bit higher; in line with your shoulders. From here I cannot quite gauge the position of your shoulders ![]()
Need to get more mid-back in; push shoulders into floor, push hips down to straighten out the line shoulders-toes, pull the mid-back up.
Thank you @Jon Douglas
Did try to get the mid-back in and push hips down - feels way heavier that way - would you suggest further improvements @Jon Douglas?
Try to keep your hips lower to avoid piking. Lean less if necessary to achieve that then when you have good form increase the lean. Make sure you're protracting strongly.
Should i keep the hips even lower?
A little lower but for me the biggest issue is the lack of protraction that causes the scapula to protrude and causes arching in your HBP PE3. Maybe you should improve on this element before resuming HBP PE3 because if your starting position is not right you won't be able to miraculously fix it during he pushup either.
Why not only lean as much as you are able to with strong protraction while observing yourself from a mirror to ensure you're in fact protracting? No protraction, no deeper lean or pushup!
Thank you Petri!
Hi Jochen,
I would suggest that you strengthen your Protraction and PPT through doing Cat Cow Mobility
Here is the application of Cat Cow to Planche Lean
and then:
nice form! Thank you @Leo Trinidad
Decided to go one step back to PE 4 - i the back round enough from protraction?
looks good to me.
make sure you maintain protraction and PPT in all sets without losing the shape. and you tilted a bit because you were looking at the camera.
Thank you Leo, yes, i wanted tu make sure is have correct form ![]()
