Anybody know how the reps in SL/PE5 "Twisting Arch Ups" are supposed to be counted? Are the 10 reps supposed to be 5 to the right and 5 to the left or 10 to each side? The video only shows a short demo and doesn't specify. Thanks for the help.

SL/PE5 - reps?

Referring to other element like one arm plank where is specified by 5x30s EACH SIDE.
when there is a mono-lateral movement you should consider the reps equally divided on the 2 sides if it not specified.
sorry, that i have to ask - it means 10 reps for each side (20 total)? Thank you!
10 total
Thank you very much
That's what I thought but it also prescribed me 5 sets of 3 reps in a deload week... Which would end with an uneven amount of reps. Just wanted to make sure I was doing things right.
thanks for the replies.
Yes, that's an unfortunate glitch in the system, it doesn't take in to account these bilateral elements, just add a rep to even it out.

Does this still apply? Because with the new workout layouts follow along video they clearly count left + right as one rep. Confusion confusion. If it is 10r/side it is a pretty steep progression compared to the ordinary arch ups.
Bump!
Follow the follow along, which means 10 reps each side.
They recently updated the follow along video. Before it showed just a single rep, so i was looking to find out the answer too.
After searching a while on the forum it came down to this:
If it says 5x10r it's 10 total, if it's 5x10r@ it's 10per side.
SL/PE5 is 5x10r@.
Ok, great. Quite a bumb up in difficulty from the ordinary arch ups ![]()
