what is the benefit in the inchworm for a posterior tilt and rounded back in the inchworm compared to say just a neutral spine and retracted scapula? Trying to make sense of going protracted/post tilt...are you looking for primarily core control, stability, and strength?

Because this is the strongest position for your straight-body skills. It should also very strongly resemble a straight handstand with nice protracted shoulders ![]()
I actually noticed this exact point today when I got a bit further forward with my hand position. I thought to myself 'this feels like a handstand', so nice to have my feelings verified thanks Jon.
