Hello, form check? Pardon the mess
still havent cleaned down in the cellar...
I can't offer much in the way of form checks, but I just wanted to say that it's always scary when a big guy does well at calisthenics. You're a strong dude.
PE -You've got a bit of a pike in the hips, finish the rep all the way to the ground.
IM - can you use less rotation in your torso so that your feeling a stretch in your shoulder as you reach back and in to do the circle? Or are you feeling the stretch with that much twist?
Those were nice push ups, they look strong and easy for you.
Two technical issues to work on. One, as mentioned your hips pike and the pike gets more pronounced as the set goes on.
One cue that can help with this, is think of touching your hips to the ground before your chest, this will make the pushups more interesting for you.
Second is it looks like your elbows are flaring out to the sides a little more than we'd like. Think of them pointing straight back when you are at the bottom of the rep.
On the iM, rotation is fine, but get your arm up to your ear and keep it there as you rotate back so the weight travels only forwards and back not off to the side.
Thanks for feedback Ryan! Not feeling much stretch, so i reduce twist to get a better stretch right?
Thanks for feedback Cole, ill work on that and post a new video in a couple of weeks :-)
