Hi im new here so first off hi to everybody...

I've got a question regarding spl-pe7-im, the hips needs to be open and flat!. Open as in close to 90 deg angle between the legs ? and flat as "pushing" the hips down during the leg rise ? thanks stefan.

Open hips is referring to no pike. Flat refers to no arch in the back, which we want to avoid as we want to be in PPT for these progressions. At least this is how I interpret these cues. You do however want to aim for roughly 90° separation between the legs I believe.

Thanks Maksis, can you please explain PPT for me ? Flat = no arch - so are we aiming to be in a hollow body position with open hips and legs 90deg appart ?

Hi Stefan,

After completing Foundation one you should not be asking what a PPT(posterior pelvic tilt) is. Unless english is your second language and you do not recognise the abbreviation. Have you completed all of F1 to mastery level?

Stefan Nielsen

Hi Mark yes english is not my first language. And yes completed F1. Just getting confused with all the abbreviation. thanks for writting it out (ppt)..

Mark Collins

Awesome. English is a difficult language to learn and the medical abbreviations are confusing for people that speak english.

Which part of the world are you from?
