Do you have any advice on portion sizes for starches for dinner? I'm new to eating starches at dinner from being Paleo for so long.

This comes later. Just be reasonable with it, you know, so that it fits on your dinner plate. For now just get used to adding the starch and marking your tasks, and further on you'll refine the particular portion size.
