I am new to this forum, and to forums in general. with that please excuse any lapses in forum etiquette (if thats a thing) . Im a 21 year old from east Texas with a passion for calisthenics. After some reasearch ive purchased the starter package giving me access to Foundation one and Handstand one. Looking through the workout page im finding it hard to navigate. I understand what its telling me to do in terms of the movements and the repetitions. However im unsure of a few things and im left with some questions:

1. acronyms are littered over this whole site. is there any kind of page or thread that breaks down what they all stand for? especially the ones on the workout page.

2. while i have watched the tutorial video im still confused in terms of the progressions. each discription for an exercise states that you cannot move on to the next progression until this one is mastered. How do i know what the next pogression is? is that simply advancing the workout to the following week or is it something more?

3. if the former is true on question two does that mean i have to be ready to progress in every exercise of week one before i move on too week two?

4. The tutorial mentions something refered to as deload week. and i noticed if you continuously advance in your workout plan after a point itll say that not all exercises advanced because you havent yet reached your deload week. what exactly is this deload week and what is its purpose.

Sorry for all these question and If any of these have ever been previously asked/answered. Again this is literally the first forum ive ever been a part of so im not too savvy with navigating it just yet. I simply hope to begin training as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Hello and welcome!

1. This one can be hard to find, it's in the course wiki - Acronym List:https://www.gymnasticbodies.com/forum/topic/18919-tual/

2. Meaning you can't move on to PE2 until you master PE1. It's pretty clear about this in the intro articles, you can find a link in the course itself.

3. No, exercises can progress separately...

4. ... But the deload weeks must stay in sync. If you start all elements on week 1, 5, or 9 it's not a problem. Search the forum for answers on this one, the search bar is your friend. But basically every 4th week is half volume on everything, for recovery. Pro+ takes care of this for you, it would answer many of your programming related questions actually as it's meant to walk you through it.

The courses can be a bit overwhelming at first, but that'll soon go away.

Have you read the introductory articles in the courses? They address all of the above questions, as far as I recall.
