ah... makes sense with the 90 degrees. Really been struggling with getting the technique down for this movement. Hopfully I'll get it right next time ![]()
Thanks a lot for your critique Zach! Really makes a big difference - Much appreciated.
Hey Tobias,
I'm still on this Hinge Row as well, and struggled a bit. What helped me was taking Zach's advise (on correct form) and practicing the details with many reps "seated", on the floor outside of the foundation session, just for the sake of meditating on the correct form to lock it in. And because this just feels really good on the outside of the shoulders as well.
Example 20 reps on the floor focused on:
1) Hip Hinge only, then 20 reps:
2) Correct hand grip at start and finish, then again 20 reps:
3) Shoulder position: upper arm parallel to the ground (or the "90" degree shoulder), elbow 90 degree, vertical ect.
Then the fun begins with applying all this to the real exercise of course!
I'm afraid to say that I'm starting to love this exercise though, as each week it seems a new shoulder muscle is turned on. ![]()
Thanks a lot guys. I've been working with the tips you gave me Ryan trying to get the right technique. Been trying for some time now, not quite sure if it's there yet, still struggling with the 90degrees bend in elbows. (You can see me looking a lot at my arms during the video trying to get it right
