Greetings all,

I started GB Foundation yesterday, i have no gymnastics background or anything similar. I read that we must post every element separately, but i did the "mistake" and joined all the videos together. Is it wrong to do that before we progress in every exercise, so we can get advice from GB coaches - athletes?

In the video i am doing all the seven (PE1) exercises (except the last one, cause i don't have rings and i improvised something for the second/third progression :'( ). If anyone has the time, please check it and feel free for any advice and tip! Personally i think my Tuck Ups are not very good. (*I filmed the last set of every exercise)

Thanks in advance,

FL/PE1 - Make sure that your upper back does not touch floor, only lower back should. Knees should be a bit in front of hips like here - http://prntscr.com/8tswqw

FL/PE1 iM - Looks solid.

SPL/PE1 - Shoulder blades should touch at bottom of movement like here - http://prntscr.com/8tsz32. Also make sure that you dont bent your arm at elbows not even a bit, elbows should be locked.

SPL/PE1 iM - Both glutes should stick to floor while doint this exercise. It seems that you lift one as you touch your knees to floor.

MN/PE1 - Touch your knees to chest, and i would say that you should do exercise only a little bit faster. And ofc point your toes. :D

MN/PE1 iM - Im leaving this to somebody else since im not sure what should happen with shoulder here.

SL/PE1 - Also leaving to somebody else, this was not SL/PE1 when i started F1 so i dont know anything about it. :D

SL/PE1 iM - Looks nice.

SLS/PE1 - Knees should be touching each other if possible. If you cant do it on mat as in video try to do it at some elevated surface and gradually decreese that elevation.

SLS/PE1 iM - Looks nice.

HBP/PE1 - Hips are a little to high.

HBP/PE1 iM - Elbows should get behind ears if it is possible.

RC/PE3 (i guess) - Hold your elbows close to body and make sure that they get to this level at the end of movement.

RC/PE1 iM - Leggs should be closer to wall if you want your back to be compleatly vertical as in course video.

RC/PE2 iM - Looks good.

This took some time. :D

Hi Pafke, thanks a lot for the advice and for watching the hole video!

FL/PE1 - my upper back is not touching the floor, but it's unclear on video as i see it.

SPL/PE1 - when i am on the way to the bottom position, my "weak arm" (left) is slightly bending, i can feel it. Maybe if i go a little slower i'll manage to hold it  locked! I ll try it again, and if i failed i ll start my week for this exercise!

SPL/iM1 - Any advice on how to improve that ? It's mobility issue clearly!

MN/PE1 - I feel i have terrible form on my tuck ups. It's maybe because i am trying to do it slowly and hold a pause at top? I clearly start my week with that!

SLS/PE1 - I can do easily with my knees touching each other, didn't know that i should have done it this way! In the video as i see it, the knees has space between them!

HBP/PE1 - Fixed.

HBP/iM1 - That's my range of motion i guess! Any tips for improve?

RC/PE3 - I can do it on the rings (did it many times in gym, but in this bar i tried i get sore too quickly and to be honest my wrists hurt a bit. I must get some rings and a place to place them, cause i can't turn my wrists as you can in rings T_T

RC/iM3 - Fixed.

*By fixed i mean i tried and did it correctly (x5).

As a result for now, i ll start my week with PE1 in SPL, MN for sure. Should i start also on HBP because of my ROM restriction on do the iM1 properly, or move on to PE2?

As for the RC progressions, i guess i must get some rings, cause the most progressions is on rings!
