Hi. I was wondering if mobility work in general should be worked more often. I have seen people say it should be worked nearly every day. However i suppose what i am asking is should the mobility elements in HI and FI be worked more than the prescribed days e.g HS PE I is only scheduled twice a week as HI is only being worked twice a week in my routine which is fairly common. Is it ok to work these mobility elements outside of the full HI or FI days in order to see further progress? Thanks

It is okay, but you may not see faster progress, especially with weighted elements. For example, weighted dislocates are one to probably not try every day at your working weight, but if they don't irritate you it can be effective to work them with a band, stick, or lighter weight at other times. Naturally if you have pathology that is being addressed by the integrated mobility or you just find something is responding partiuclarly well, you might want to do it more often. Note also that in the worst case, injuries from mobility work are going to generally be messier than those from strength work; you'll need to monitor your volume and intensity to ensure you are improving from, not surviving, your workouts ![]()
