My journey through Manna progressions

Hello everyone, i started this topic to make sure i'm moving in the right direction.

So as an introduction, i started bodyweight training some years ago, doing street workout, and i thought i was doing pretty good for various Manna progressions, i could do multiple 10x sets of hanging leg lifts (on a single bar) and hold a ~60s L-sit. So when i started F1 and look at Manna progressions, i was thinking ok, this looks easy, i'm gong to move quickly to the specific elements. What i didnt realize was how far my form was to the correct one. So as i went through the elements i started to realize that fact (i even got to the specific elements).

Finally i had to set my ego aside and face it, so i started from the beginning. Some of my problems were failing to keep straight knees when lifting over 90 degrees, not pointing my toes, using my lats and having longer rest in between sets. A secondary issue is that i'm not using a stall bar, as you can see in the following video, and the bar is too big, so my grip was limiting me. So now i'm going to use the stall bars (they're not where i train, so i'll have to move there, but i think it's necessary)

What do you think? I think it looks fine, except for my toes.

What i'm not really sure about is compression, it is good enough? Comparing to the course videos, it look good IMO.

chuchodani

Looks good, you just need to clean it up and keep those legs straight all the time and point your toes. Probably if the grip is giving you problems you could use straps.

I bet you get some odd looks as people walk up the stairs. From the pics looks good ROM.

Bro'

I dig the alternative to stall bars!

Very nice and creative setup indeed!

Thanks to everyone for your replies, i'm going to work now on the stall bars, and yes chuchodani is right, now my main focus are making sure i'm straightening my knees at the top, and pointing my toes, which is what is actually causimg me more trouble, as i've discovered that i've been doing too much toe flexion instead of ankle plantar flexion, which is giving me some wierd tightening in my plantar fascia i believe.
