Hi there!

Does my bent hollow body hold look solid, and would it be safe for me to move to the next progression? The video below is from my 5th set - Sorry you can't see my feet, but they are ofc. off the ground.

Thanks in advance!

Tobias you have room for improvement in your form here before moving on,  your not getting much rounding in your lower back nor very much lift.  You can try some rocking to see how your hollow will transition to rocking but I think you will have difficulty without achieving a better hollow here first.

Tilt your hips, lock it in with your abs by squeezing down and in, round your lower back to get your upper back off the mat,  breath with your diaphragm.

Hips are too much extended and shoulders too low.

Increase the flexion at your hips and try to lift more your shoulders. if you can't probably your abs are very weak, it will take more time.

Thanks guys, I see your points and I'll give it some more time before moving on :-)

You've got better lift in the shoulders, but you are gradually losing height over the minute.

Keep working with this 90 degree hip flexion, it makes it easier to lift your shoulders off the mat.  After another block if you can keep your shoulders at the same height for the whole time then do a block with your hip angel open more.  Each time you master a certain degree of hip flexion increase the difficulty by increasing the hip angel until your form matches the course video.  Then you will be ready for PE2.

Thanks a lot Ryan. I'll be working some more on the hold. At least it's getting better :-)
