longer gymnastics rings straps

This morning I tried out a new tree for my hinge rows. The lowest branch was quite a bit higher than expected. So the rings are about 2 meters above the ground. Too high for hinge rows. Some climbing rope and caribeners should do the trick. But I can't figure outbhow to make them adjustable for length other than re-tie everytime. Any suggestions or alternatives?

Use prussiks on the rope to adjust: Make a small sling using double fisherman's knots. Then tie to rope with a prussik or similar friction hitch. Done.

Buy some really long cargo straps online. They are relatively cheap.

Good idea. Its nice to have if outdoors or traveling.
