I had a question regarding wall handstands: is it true that until my son has completely mastered shoulder width (+one fist) dislocates, he cannot even start playing around with wall handstands? Or can he start playing around a bit?

Wall Handstands?

Playing with wall handstands should be fine after the day's work is done. But dedicated training should be saved for when they are reached in the course.
Definitely not true. Do all the assigned PE's and iM's from the Handstand Series, then play. "Play" can be defined as attempting later PE's and iM's, but without training to actually hit a designated number of sets and reps (or time).
Also, if you have a ton of leftover energy after your training to "play," then one might ask why your training is so easy. Not necessarily true for everyone... just a thought.
Best,
Chris
Of course he can play.
Then again, in his technical training, chances are he is doing a lot of handstands. Why not separate GST and skill training, exercise patience with the one so that he can train as hard aa he wants in the other?
I'm a bit confused, what do you mean by technical training...

There is strength work and skill work.
F7 and HS series builds the foundation ( prepares your body to withstand the load that will placed when learning skills with the least risk of injury )
Skills are performed on Gymnastics apparatus - P-bars , Vault, Pommel Horse, Rings, High bar, floor.
U need to build a good physical structure to be able to practice skills which are performed in competitions.
