Hi

could someone clarify the following for me please?

I'm on day 2 of my 1st week

the first exercise is SL/PE2:3x2r@.  What does the @ stand for? Is it a typo and should I therefore do 3 rounds of 2?

the mobility exercise for the above is 10r SL/PE2iM for each set. the accompanying video shows the guy doing 4 rounds each way, is that one set? or is each single round counted as 1? and if so do I do 5 each way, or 10 each way?

The same for the next MN/P1iM the video shows the guy doing 5 on one side, is that classed as 5 reps or one rep... and my schedule says to do this 5 times, does that men 5 on each side or  should I alternate between sides in my sets?

Sorry for al the questions... but.. in the handstand schedule at the end of day one it says 10HS/PE1 for each work set. does that mean for the HS/PE1 strength sets or all the exercises in todays HS schedule?

Thanks !

Hi Lucy,

The '@' symbol simply means per side. For your SL PE2 assignment, you want to make sure you're doing 3 sets of twists. 2 repetitions on each side counts as 1 set. Most of the videos will demonstrate how to do a couple of repetitions of an exercise, not necessarily just 1 and not necessarily a full set. For the trunk circles, it looks to me like he does 6: 3 one way and 3 the other. I would do 5 to the right and 5 to the left and learn to love them. I do these (or a later variation on these) for my warm up still.

For your MN PE1 iM, he does 5 repetitions to one side. According to the course materials you need to do "5r per side," for a total of 10 in each set.

For handstands, you will do the iM after the primary H1 sets only. You will do all of your wrist stretches and pushup/rock variations before getting started on your H1 PE/iM sets.  Remember that handstands are skill work, so you can take some additional time to rest in between sets if needed, unlike F1. Focus on doing good, quality work and only count the sets where you maintain the integrity of the position. Cheers-

Lucy
