Just want some feedback and tips on how to improve my spinal flexion.

Well, you seem to purposefully stop where your toes are. I see plenty of ROM left below that. Aim for the floor.

lol.. purposefully? hehe. I wish. No sorry that is the ROM of me right now. that is my hamstrings and calves stopping me right there.

 

other than the lack of depth, is the movement correct?

Come back up as slowly as you go down.

 

Focus on uncurling from the tailbone to the head, the head will be the last bit to uncurl.

Just to slightly elucidate technique, for me this starts with pushing tailbone down to the ground, then stacking vertebra up on top of that base :)

Hey Bret,

 

Definitely slower on the way up. Really try to envision each vertebrae flexing individually on the way down, and extending individually on the way up.
