Is there any downsides to keeping your feet against the wall? Because I train with socks and it gets slippery.
Or is the exercise suppose to be done with slippery feets like in a planche lean to maximize the benefits gained?

Is there any downsides to keeping your feet against the wall? Because I train with socks and it gets slippery.

if you have the necessary strength the type of socks you are using is not so relevant. it is the same concept as doing the PPP on a slippery surface, the position should be held actively.

I did it today wihtout the wall, got in sets of 15s. Then did an extra set with the wall, and seemed easier.
The athlete in the video however does them with bare feet which gives more friction than slippery socks...
