FL/PE1: No critiques. iM: I think you could reach more ROM in the cow (top position) by putting your head between your arms, remember "The neck's position should mimic the spine's position." Take a look again at the course video and see the difference between your range of motion and the athlete one just at the top position.

sPL/PE1: You're not reaching full protraction, at the top position I'm still able to see your shoulder blades. Focus on getting that full protraction. iM: You're going way too fast, slow down the tempo and keep those glutes on the floor. Another point is to control the twisting on the torso, just use a slightly twist. Take a look at the course video again.

RC/PE1: No critiques, maybe someone else could see something different.

I agree with everything Chuchodani said about FL and sPL. Top of the sPL/PE you should try to push your shoulder blades as far down and apart as you can.

RC - Good job on the angel of your elbows and shoulders, hips look nice and stationary.  Just double check your hip position at the top of the rep.  Your hips should be directly below the bar/rings.  You might be too far ahead hard to tell from the camera angle.

I will make the changes and post another video tomorrow.

RC1 : MY hips were definitely not under the rings.

Thanks for your help guys!

Ron Walker

I hope I'm on the right track!

Good job Ron, it looks too me like you put the critiques into practice.  Keep working on swivel hips they will come.  Watch that you don't pike your hips up at the top of the sPL/PE.  The other elements look solid to my eye.  See what one of the coaches say.

You're on the right track, keep posting your form checks on future elements.

How are the swivel hips looking?

chuchodani

In the strength element you're bending your elbows and protracting and retracting too fast slow down the tempo at make a pause at both positions.

iM: You need to get that 90 degrees angle in the hips and knees just as the focus points said to you on the course and also slow down a the tempo.

How is it looking now?
