My 11 year old son is using starter pack. For exercises in H1, how heavy should the weight he uses be?

Weights for my son

My tweener is using 3 lbs (~1.3 kg) and calling it good. It's more important to me that he pays attention to form, being consistent (as much as you would expect from a tweener) and listening to his body. My kiddo does another sport so I think for him it's more about building good habits (he does F1 &H1).
How would you suggest he sets up the weights? How could we build a bar or something?
.
I'm using a 4 foot piece of black pipe from the hardware store. it weighs right around 3lbs and is just the right size to slide 1 inch/standard (non-olympic) weight plates onto for additional loading.
.
Thanks! Also considering ankle weights
versatile, portable, easy to remove and add.
Is 2 pounds okay?
not on each weight, total.
Don't over think it. He's 11. 2 pounds is great if he's working consistently.
Kay. Thanks!
Curious, where in F and H are your kids/kid?
