Holy guacamole. Is that 5s up and down or just up. One of my boys can get up to the top in 5.xx seconds and are ropes are probably around 15 feet give or take a foot.

15 feet are 4,5 meters, not 8m. Notice also that rope climbers start in seated position, cannot touch the ground with the feet when they start climbing and cannot grasp the rope with the feet,

In gymnastics gym, you must always start at the seated position!!Otherwise you are cheating

As well in a gymnastics gym, you are not allowed to kick as you rise. Strict straddle or pike preferably. Many of our kids who cannot climb rope without the use of their legs start from a stand but they aren't really are strongest gymnasts.

Also adults have far more reach and I do realize the difference between 4-5 and 8 meters even if I'm from America.
