Rest between sets & intensity

Are we allowed to rest between sets? Intensity could reduce the quality/time of the next set.

For example:

Set 1

SLS - PE1 - done

Straight on to IM - done

Rest/Heart Rate down.

Set 2

....and so on

The cost of rest is intensity and the cost of intensity is form - So, is there a rule or consensus on rest?

Thank you

The integrated mobility work *is* your rest. You need to be able to perform every rep with good form, too. To move on to PE2 you need to be able to perform all five sets of PE1 and PE1>iM with good form and no rest between sets.

PE1
Straight on to IM
Straight on to PE1
Straight on to IM
Straight on to PE1

This is all in the course materials - I'd recommend reading through them again :)

The name of the game here is work capacity. The primary goal of Foundation is not to build maximal strength (though you'll get plenty of that!) but to develop the ability to maintain a high power output over long periods of time.

It's seems intense at first but you'll adapt quick enough. Except SL PE1.
