So i can hold a pretty good freestanding handstand for more than 30 seconds and do 15 handstand pushups against the wall(arms wide) but when i try to do the same in a freestanding handstand i just cant push myself back up. How should i be training my freestanding pushup?

I picture of your handstand or even better a video of your attempt would help us very much

Doing HeSPUs with hands wide apart is a lot easier compared to doing them with your hands only shoulder width apart. Perhaps when doing them freestanding, your hands are now only shoulder width apart? This would explain why you cannot push yourself up.

If this is the reason then you should train your HeSPUs with your hands shoulder width apart. You may have to start with box HeSPUs in order to build up the necessary strength.

Are you able to do controlled negatives ( between 6-8s) for reps and sets of the free standing hs pushups ? If is not the case, you should work on negatives or earlier progressions.
