Does handstand presses from standing pike/straddle without planching taxes a lot the biceps tendon ?

Also : Would you recommend to do sets of those everyday with HS practice ?

No, standing pHS should not tax the bicep tendon. If it does, you are attempting pHS in an extremely incorrect manner.

I would like to however add a caveat to Coach Sommer's comment.

When beginning press HS work it is possible to experience tricep and/or elbow pain. Most people will want to bend the arms during the press to reduce the load., and therefore contract the triceps extremely hard to compensate. This is a relatively normal part of the development of press HS. Jumping head first into training it, excessive volume, etc can then lead to some sore triceps and elbows.

Simple solution to that, ease into it and don't be an idiot (slowly and progressively increase the volume).

Good training!
