Is this good enough for mastery?

Looks good to me. A few things: make sure to come up fully after each rep and try to get even more rotation out of the active arm.

Couple things.

  1. Nice speed, most people do this too fast. I would say you can actually come up faster as the demo video descends slowly and comes up fast.
  2. Agree with Murray, make sure you rotate the working arm pretty much as far as possible.
  3. Check the demo video for foot placement. You want to bring them in a little closer and one foot is perpendicular to the other (more a 'T' shape). This should also make is a little easier on your back/obliques as the way you are doing it now it's definitely harder than it has to be
  4. Once the feet are in order you lean more toward the opposite (opp working arm) leg and you can place your arm behind your body instead of in front. This gives you more hammy stretch, which it seems you are plenty flexible enough for.

Come on Murray, did you even watch the video...you're slipping man ;).

Jeremy Huston

Your legs should be closer together and you should go a little deeper, especially with the dumbell in your right hand.  Make sure your torso is well below horizontal at the end.  The next IM is Jefferson Curls, and you want to make sure your hips can bend to 90 degrees in pike before starting them.  A slightly heavier weight or static holds in the bottom position might help open up that ROM.

Just watched it again, not entirely sure why I didn't think he was standing up fully between each rep. Clearly he is...
