Eye bolts for rings

Hi guys,

I will be hanging my rings off some eye bolts attached to a concrete ceiling. Does anyone have any specifications for the bolts?

How long should they be, how far into the concrete should they go, diameter of the eye, etc...

Any help greatly appreciated.

The above is almost correct, but do not use an open hook. Use a cast solid eye bolt like the one pictured below. M8 is a good size, and the hole's not too hard to drill M10 will be stronger and allow larger carabiners.

Make sure you have or rent a good hammer drill for this job.
