Hello,

I'm in F1 & H1 since 15 weeks, so I just finished my first cycle and would like to ask to check the form of my exercises:

WRS (wrist stretch)

WP / FKP / WR / FTP

HS (Headstand (HeS) & Static seated shoulder flexion with weighted bar)

-Feedback on the mobility exercise would be appreciated

Thank you very much!

Kind regards, Sascha

Stretches look good -- nice wrist flexibility.

Frankly, the wrist exercises look too hard for you.  Your body is swaying and piking at the hips instead of holding a steady hollow position.  You probably should move back to the PE3s on your knees.  Don't push too hard on the wrist exercises.  Less is more.  Give your body time to adapt.

For the wrist rocks, make sure to rock forward, not just back.  You're sort of doing a combination of PE4 and SE 4 on these.  Re-watch the video for how to do the walk.

For fingertip pushups, you're making these harder than you need to.  For the PEs you only need to go on one hand's fingers at a time.

Headstand is good -- very stable.

For the mobility, your arms aren't quite vertical.  The camera angle doesn't let us see how far apart your hands are.  It's acceptable to have the inside of your hand just outside your shoulders.

Agreed with tex. These should not be a death march and you will not gain much from them as such. Go back to wherever is necessary to keep a controlled body position and good form.

With the first knuckle pushups you want to keep your hand flat/fingers on the ground and push your hand up from there, not lifting the whole thing up to get into position. Think more of a rolling motion that just hinges at the knuckles.

The wrist rocks look...let's just say they are rough :). Go back and study the videos, and I think you'll see a big difference.

And for the HS/iM tex is correct: The thumb side of the hand can be inline with the deltoids. This is as close as you need to be, so if you film again make sure you get a front angle. I would also recommend moving your hands out farther so you can get more ROM in the shoulders and slowly working back in over microcycles. Tape marking on the stick really helps out since you can move it at infinitesimal increments.

Are your arms locked straight on the head stand PE?

Thanks to everybody for the feedback, I will step back a bit, work on the details and will post an update when I feel that it has improved.
