Question about spinal traction

Hi everyone,

 

Looking to get more info on spinal traction(decompression) and thought the knowledge base here would be a good place to ask.

 

Disk health. Rehab. Anything really.

It's not often done as a treatment as the improvements are so short lived. There are times when traction can be used at a specific joint level with manual therapy. We are creatures adapted to gravity so we need compression in our bodies. Astronauts in space have no forces of gravity and there spin can lengthen several centimetres. They usually come back to Earth and have terrible back pain.

What were you thinking of using traction for?
