Feature Concept: Heat Maps

After discussing aspects of Allan's training with Coach yesterday, I had the idea of a visual form of analytics for our students. A heat map is a representation of the amount of time spent on each progression block compared to the whole of an element's development. The student can use this to better understand trouble areas that they may need to revisit or include as special maintenance.

Here's a (very) rough mockup of a F1 FL heat map.

This could be a really nice feature. Is the idea to take the inputs from 'this weeks workout' and use that history to create the map?

Correct, we'd simply assign a couple counters for their progress. The longer they spend working on an element, the "hotter" the block becomes. To prevent false counters, I will add  "repeat week" and "back" buttons in addition to the advance one already there. If they do nothing the counter won't tick.

Later this will tie into the smart coaching based on where they get stuck.
