Question About The Splits

i was doing front split 3 moths ago and i injured my hamstring but i dont know why 

but know i cant do the splits anymore 

 

any advice by the way there is no problem on my legs

Did you do an adequate warm-up? Advice would be to lay off doing the splits for awhile until the hamstring heals and don't do anything that makes it hurt. Ice if it's swelling/painful at rest/ inflamed 10 on 5 off. Also try heat if you don't think its inflamed. Slowly get back into stretching with good warm-ups of the legs that don't aggrevate the hamstring. When I did my hamstring it didn't take too long for it to heal to the point where I could slowly get back into it! Also elevate your leg if it becomes really painful again!
