Seabird
Stalder is an A level skill and the V sit is a C level skill, but to my untrained eye, they seem to be the same thing (though the videos I've seen may not be accurate representations). Could someone please explain the differences?
Joshua Slocum
Re-read your code. A piked Endo roll to handstand is a C (skill # 45); the straddled version is a B (#44).
Daniel Burnham
I believe he is talking about the static presses not the rolls. In this case, a press from L, straddle L, split, or front support is all a B (skill 14)A press from Vsit is C (skill 9) Lowering from handstand to straddle L is an A A stalder press is a press from straddle L which is easier than holding a V-sit.
Seabird
I believe his is talking about the static presses not the rolls. Either way. I think the video I saw was a straddle L press to handstand, and the person just thought it was a V press because the straddle is shaped like a V. Makes sense because the V sit press is a C skill and the manna press is a D. Ty.
Timothy Aiken
A stalder press is a press from straddle L which is easier than holding a V-sit.Muscularly, stalder is easier. But if you have the strength, V-sit is easier as there is less finesse.
