While i'm finding the mobility quite simple (probably is due to my years and years of upper body PNF) , perform this PE could take me a little bit more.

I have a couple of question on that element. btw i suppose that the demonstrated for is the execution to mimic.

-before repeat a rep is necessary stop the movement in a momentary planche for a couple of seconds?

-in the video Allan is demonstrating at the top of the ascent movement a more adv tuck variation (credits to BtGB volume) while in my case i'm doing a tuck variation. is acceptable also the tuck?

-i noticed that using the pbars i can lower down more then the floor, is acceptable use another equipment?

-ideally shoulders and hips must be holded at the same level during all the descent and ascent movement so the elements fail when the hips are lower then shoulders and the heigth is adjusted after the push up?

I know that there are more a lot of questions but only because details makes the difference.

thanks

I was going to say your butt is leading the way up... but then I tried this myself and realized that to get back up you really need to tuck first, then press up, otherwise you're really just doing full straddle planche pushups.

Interested on feedback as well.  Just kind of messing around here...

I think this exercise is harder on the floor. On your ascent, your knees dip below the level of your wrists, which Wouldn't be possible on the floor. Therefore the initiation of the movement out of the bottom is harder on the floor due to a more disadvantaged leverage. On parallettes, what you are doing are essentially tuck planche pushups augmented with a bent arm planche at the bottom.

If you are comparing it with the one shown on the F3 video, then that is incorrect as he lifts his hips even higher to compensate for more room to tuck the legs which means that he is shortening the lever more than the parallete version with the knees below the hands at the bottom which has the hips more leveled to the shoulders.

The reason floor counterparts of planche exercises are harder than the PB counterpart for most people is because you can generate a bit more force with the bars and is also easier to balance.

I would say to thenail001 to push up as you tuck your legs instead of starting the push-up after tucking the legs.

This is what I was trying to say :)

definitely on the floor is harder, this simply because when you are lowering down you reach the floor with knee before complete the descent rom, and you need to increase the leverage, the process is the same to press up, there is a partial straddle pl push up exactly where you are stronger and it continues in a tuck as the leverage becomes harder where you are weaker.

For my actual level of strength 7-8 tuck planche push up equals 5-6 straddle planche hold.

2 planche push up with 5 kg added to the ankles equals 2 reps of PE22.

You mean the ability to do 7-8 tuck planche pushups has you at the strength level where you can do a 5-6 second straddle planche hold?  I'm a little confused on your wording.

You do know that there is no direct correlation between bent arm exercises and straight arm exercises right?

If this is what was meant it is not true for everyone.

exactly what daniel said, my level of transfert between skills is far more lower then the normal guys. i'm not special , i've only different weight distribution and this is determinant for some skills development. the most part of my fried are able to hold the straddle planche for mroe then me with only 2-3  tuck planche push up. one of my team mates could perform 1 tuck planche push up with 4 kg and hold the straddle for more then 10 seconds.

Or it could be because your bent arm pushing strength is a lot stronger relatively than your straight arm pushing strength.
