you are keeping knees in good position..but I think you definitely need to go lower
and I think your left side (right from my PoV) is more flexible
Try to go as low as the athelite in the video otherwise it´s fine.
ok. i'll work on it.
should i be trying to push my butt out to the side as much as i possibly can (or just to the amount that it's comfortable) during the exercise?
thanks
Ok, still working on my sPL PE1 iM, here's my progress.
I've mastered PE1 too, should i continue to sPL PE2? ![]()
this thread was actually about SLS PE1, haha!
but i watched your video. the form looks good, but i'd probably have the legs bent a few inches more. i bet you can probably do that, though. if you can do that with the same form, then you should be good to move on to the next progression.
How far are your knees going forward over your toes? I find it difficult myself to track the knees over the toes while keeping the torso upright.
Also, is most of your body weight supported by the ipsilateral (same side) leg or the contralateral (opposite side) leg?
matt, the knees will not track over the toes. the toes point straight, and the knees go sideways. you can check out my thread about how "sls progressions remind me of this ido portal video." also, review the athlete in the SLS video
i'm certainly not an expert on this im, so i may not be the best person to answer, but if i point my knees to the left, i feel more weight in the right leg when i squat down.
as for me, i still feel like i can do this im better, so i'm still working on it.
