please take a look at my MN/PE1>im form check.  i'm not sure i'm doing it right.  i have 2 issues.

1. the first issue is that the athlete demonstrating the move, when standing completely upright, raises his arm up and points his raised hand a certain way, let's just say he points his hand north.  as the athlete bends down, he rotates his raised hand a full 360 degrees.  therefore, when the athlete is bent down all the way, his hand has finished rotating 360 degrees and ends up facing north again.  my hand does not quite rotate 360 degrees.  is that ok?  can i move on to the next element?

2.  when the athlete's torso is bent down all the way, it appears that his torso is at a ninety degree angle with his feet, but i'm not sure.  does my angle look ok?

the first 22 seconds, i'm explaining my concerns.  at the 23 second mark, i start demonstrating the exercise.

i go to a really ghetto gym, and there's no weight marking on the dumbbell, but i think the dumbbell is 8 or 9 pounds.

so basically, i just want to know if i can move on to the next progression.

thanks

im not an expert at this but im sure it will look a bit better if you turn your(hamstring mobilizing foot) which in this case would be the left out to 90degrees in relation to your back foot(in this case your right foot bwcause the weight is in your right hand.)

try re-filming it like that and we'll see

One comment that I would have is that your foot placement looks incorrect. Have another look at the video and photos as the athletes feet are at almost, but not quite, a 90 degree angle to each other. Yours are pointing straight ahead.

Edit: KeilaniG got there just ahead of me!

Plus one for the foot placement. If that doesn't help the arm/weight turn more to parallel then perhaps you might benefit from some self release/massage in some area. I would imagine somewhere in the shoulder, but it could be anything with my limited anatomical knowledge. It also looks like your left arm is a little tighter/turns less than the right.

ok.  thanks.   i took this video on thursday.  unfortunately, i popped my ankle yesterday (landed wrong after doing a handspring), so i'm not sure i can even physically do the exercise again at the moment.

i will reshoot a video when i am physically able to.

thanks
