Hi guys, i want to know more about this drill. It looks easy but i didnt understand the technique. The hand placement and a little bit of hopping makes it difficult to understand. i can do it bent arm easily but its very different.

here is a video of the move:

i am asking about the movement on 0:08. turns are possible to. so a little bit info about that would be also appreciated.

thanks for the help

It is called a back extension roll. You can find a ton of tutorials on YouTube describing the technique.

at the beginning the hands are pointed inward then after the roll you need to externally rotate them outward do the the fingers are pointing forward.

The first thing you need to learn is handstand, perfect handstand, then how to roll forward out of the handstand with bent arms, then how to roll forward with straight arms. the movement is exactly the reverse of this final progression. btw is not simply try to reverse the movement. in my gym we use a straddle and piked hips backward roll with straight arms arriving in the start position if a V-push up, then move over full lay with hips piked backward roll to V push up. in all those version the hands are pointing inward.
