Seminar Revenue Sharing

GB will pay upfront all of the primary expenses incurred for running the seminar from our end (airfare, lodging, staff food at $75/day).  At the conclusion of the seminar, the cost of those expenses will be deducted from the gross revenue collected.  The host and GB will then split the remaining net revenue according to the sliding scale shown below up to a maximum of $10,000.00 for the host.

# of Attendees : Host %

36 (minimum) : 5%

42 : 10%

48 : 15%

54 : 20%

60 : 25%

- We normally run a max of 60 paid attendees as we have found on average that this is the largest group that many facilities can accomodate.  However if you feel that your facility can handle a larger group, we can adjust that number and I will bring in additional staff as needed.   :)

- The GB two day seminars have two three (3) hour blocks of instruction interspersed by a two hour break for lunch per day.  For example 9-12pm (instructional block), 12-2pm (lunch), 2-5pm (instructional block).  We can however adjust this schedule to work around ongoing early morning classes etc. at your facility as necessary.

- Our seminar tuition rates also have a sliding scale; the earlier participants sign up the more they save.  With the GB NorCal seminar set for March 22-23, 2014 the discounted seminar tuitions rates are as follows and will be in effect for the following dates:

Super Early Bird Discount Tuition = $799 and runs from now until November 29, 2013.

Early Bird Discount Tuition = $899 and runs from 11/30/13 to 1/24/14.

Regular Tuition = $999 and runs from 1/25/14 to 3/22/14

- Included in the seminar tuition are the two required seminar online courses; Foundation One and Handstand One.  For those who already own access to the courses (as shown by our records) they receive a coupon for $170 off their seminar tuition fee.

Current registration is currently 12 for NorCal.

Coach Sommer

I would like for us to strive to get it to at least 20-25.

Orench Lagman

Agreed, coach.

Looking at Wolf's and NorCal's FB account there was no mention of the seminar at all.

All seminars after NorCal will have 4 GB ads sent to the host.

-the original 'regional' picture and date used on GB's fb.

-a custom ad with their logo and GB's logo, including some nice graphics. (like the one used for Awaken)

-a custom SEB and EB ad released with our Wrike scheduling.

These ads will be called the "GB seminar marketing kit".

Seems like the host need a bit of help promoting our seminar.

Good ideas Orench. I personally think that strong in-house marketing is key for getting a good turn out.

I had a similar kit that I was sending out and think it helped.

I'm actually very surprised that gyms are being more proactive, as my experience with yoga studios was quite the opposite, where the entire burden of marketing and organising is generally on the studio owners shoulders and not the guest teachers. Payments are also made directly to the studios, so perhaps that's also a motivational influence.

Teachers just show up and teach and generally do little else to help or promote, other than perhaps a mention on their websites.

I also most wonder if us doing so much of the work of organising etc is making our hots lazy in general.

Anyway 12 at Robb's is quite a surprise.

We are at 18 now.

Along with the web 4 graphics (GB marketing kit), I will also include a poster style advertisement that they can print and put around the gym.

GB marketing kit includes:

-regional graphic

-SEB ad

-EB ad

-montage teaser

-a physical ad

It will include their logo as well as GB.
