Hi, first of all, thanks for your time.

While doing a HSPU in a wall when my head is close to touch the floor it's when i feel my shoulders are working out more, my question is, can i hold that position for "x" secs and will that develop more strength in my shoulders?

Thanks for reading it!  :)

Yes.

Of course! Just 1-2 two sec hold are really hard when doing first times. Try it.

Better is to increase rom, but you can do both at one time i think

You will develop more strength but also more mass if you eat well. so use it for your best purpose!

Go down in HSPU Position Hold 2 Sec, go lower - hold 2 sec - when you can go lower - go lower! and so on, also if you cannot go back, you can hold at the end for a few sec, use it.

After 2-3 reps you are probably done for a few days :D

No problem - like to share my experience with you all.

Before i forget! Best hint here is a pillow or another soft mat etc for your head, because this exercise is really exhausting, dude!

So safety first.

Thanks you all for your replys, especially @William =)

Also, do you know more exercises for shoulders strength? i do korean dips (both grips), HSPU, wide dips and assisted planches

Thanks for reading it ! =)

William

Do not forget the balance for your shoulder health. dont do just push exercises, need pulls too :)

You can do Handstandwalks, also nice for shoulders. Think you got enough pressing movements to this point. Stay to one exersice for longer, makes better progress at the end.

But if you are looking for variations...there are many more, just check out the forum.
