Just got Cory's e-mail today. Should we be locking out arms on any of the F1 exercises?

Yes! Planks and planche leans must be done with locked out straight arms! During the top of the push up and the bottom of the rows the elbows should extend to their fullest.
In F1 there is only so much locking out you can do for FL, but it is a good habit. For PE5 and 6 you should be training them as in the video, hands above head, and whether you are holding a stick or not they should be locked out. sPL progressions will address your actual straight arm conditioning at this point (it's really deceptively easy to overdo it, and it doesn't take much to stimulate adaptation).
In F2, the straight arm component of FL begins in earnest. Get in the habit now ![]()
