The last progression in f2 for (sls) is the single leg squat. What else comes after it? Is there more advanced single leg squats too come? If so why did coach wrote down that the main goal for sls is the single leg squat?

There are more exercises coming in F3, but no one knows what they are.

Well, Coach does ![]()
BTGB (the book) should give us a clue
Speculation...
Jumping SLS and Single leg Archups, maybe.
There's a couple of tweaks one can make in the speed skater squat to make it more difficult than an SLS.

I'm not so sure, dynamic work should all be in movement, and surely single leg archups can't follow GHR....
I'm wondering if there's a Russian dip version of single leg squat
That would be really hard.....

Can you walk me through that one please? ![]()

The Russian SLS...perform eccentric, 3 shots of vodka, perform concentric. Very good balance training.

I will have to move my Wk 12 Friday session to the evening. Thanks for the heads up!
You can prefix any exercise name with "Russian" and that'll make it look more badass.
Russian Arch Body Rock, Russian Straddle Up, Russian Pull-up, Russian Bicep Curl...

Russian russain dips?
So in Russian dips. The elbow gets placed down on the bar.Jon Douglas said:Can you walk me through that one please?
What if there was a SLS variation where in the bottom of the SLS you continue by placing knee down on floor by lifting your heels and bending your toes, then go back into the bottom of SLS and come back up

Had to try it. Not difficult, but awkward coming back to the foot, I fell over once or twice until I got it.
Might be interesting as an ankle mobility drill, but in terms of strength, no different to slow SLS IMO ![]()
I thought more go into bottom position then sit bum on ground don't roll backwards staying upright and then push forward and up again....

This was actually a pretty fun variation. Would agree with Jon that it was not much different in strength from SLS, but still pretty fun!
Switching legs at the bottom of a SLS is good fun.
If you want even more fun, do a quick L sit while you're switching legs.
Sls on a slack line?
