This is my first post in GB Forum.

I normaly do BJJ,  and powerlifting for fun. Wich also both has weight classes, thats why i think BG will help me.

But to get better at both my overall plan for the next few years is to work on my mobility/flexibility and gymnastic strength.

I started with 5 day plan at PE1 and followed it. I have done it in the morning and trained my other things at night. when i was going to the end of the cycle i turned down my other training.
last week i started my 11 week. = 5x1min tucked hollow and 5x1min ached back hold, and so on.. Monday i did hollow pretty easy with nearly no cramps. tuesday i was beginning to have a really sore body!!!! (i got the flu, but i did not know at that time). i did my arch back and the other stuff. made it with good form. wedensday i had it rly bad but did my workout and made it with good form again. Thursday my body hurt sooo bad. and i could not make the last two workouts... i am really confident that i would have made them, i even did the others while i was sick. and this week im just getting better and start to eat again and regain strenght. i did not do the deload training..

So my question: do i just forget it and belive that i could have done it and move on to PE2 and start from week1.  or do i try again and then take a deload week, and maybe not make it, because i just was sick. Or do i go back and start from a early week in the PE1?

im rly tired of it now and would like to move to PE2 week 1 myself..

any advice.?

You have done it when you have done it :), just believing that you can do it doesn't count here.

Let the sickness go away, your body to recover and start where you would be on your plan - if you believe you can do mastery/week 11 - test it, otherwise either start new microcycle or rejoin on the week you would be on. Most likely start new microcycle, sounds like your body could use some extra weeks to adjust to the load.

Finish your de-load. On the first day of your next week, try doing the week 11 programming. Move on to PE2 for the elements where you successfully complete the week 11 programming.

I was sick last week and two months ago. After ,i just start where i was minus one week. So ,for example if it was at 4*5 i start 4*4. But is it very good to start with deload week for sure. Good idea. Dont worry , after week or two you are there where you have been...

BJJ & Power Lifting... you just started F1 on a 5 days plan................ then you get sick...

Is your body trying to tell you something?

Methinks probably yes... :)

T'is not a race, even if RICQ thinks otherwise...  :P

It is actually not that taxing. I use it for GPP and active recovery.  its no problem for me to train like this, and i am good to listen to my body.

Actually i got sick because of personal reason. A breakup after a long relationship will make your immune system rly low. And that is why. I train all year long and i am only sick maybe once a year.
